How often can I use my Boost device?
We recommend a minimum of 3-5x per week, but in fact love to use ours daily - which is the beauty and convenience of a wearable device.

Can my Boost device be used after Botox / filler/ face procedures?
Yes, the Boost can be applied post injectables. Swelling from injectables normally occurs about 8 hours afterwards, so best time to apply is 6-8 hours afterwards. LED will take down the swelling in a day but bruising tends to take longer to treat.

Best practice for bruising is to use LED consistently for 2 days prior, as that will lessen your chances for bruising, and then continue for the week after.

Can my Boost device be used straight after surgery?
LED is most effective in post-surgical treatment, if it begins 24 hours after the surgery, and continues for three days. However, you can continue treatment for as long and as often as you wish, as the treatment will continue to benefit your healing tissues.

Applying pre surgery, for a least two days, will also speed up the healing time

Can I use the Boost devices with at home skin tools, such as microcurrent?
Yes, LED is safe to use with almost all other skincare modalities

Can you use the Boost devices straight after microneedling?
Yes, and in fact the creator of microneedling recommends that LED is always used in combination 

Will the Boost Patch device help with pain relief?
Yes, red 633nm and near-infrared 830nm wavelengths are clinically proven to help with pain relief and reduce healing time.

Is there an age recommendation?
You can use Boost LED from 16 years of age. We do not have clinical research on the use of wearable Boost LED on under 16s, so use on younger teenagers and children is at the choice and risk of the parent. As each child’s healing and recovery journey is different, we recommend seeking advice from your doctor prior to use.

Do not wash hair for 24-48 hours after treatment.

Do not use medicated shampoo or hair products.

Do not dye hair or use any chemical straightening or curling products for one week.

Avoid unprotected and direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 7-10 days post treatment.

Avoid vigorous exercise, the gym, bath, sauna or swimming pool for at least 48 hours after treatment; steam and sweat increase your bacteria exposure which can cause adverse reactions.

Avoid the use of topical sensitising drugs, skincare products or cosmetics that contain mineral oils, lanolin, petroleum and acids at least 3-7 days after treatment.

Use the remainder of the Calecim serum after you have washed and dried your hair. Apply to the scalp and massage in.

The needles within the stamp should be cleansed thoroughly in 70% alcohol, left to dry and stored with their covering on.

Wipe your Boost LED Patch with 70% alcohol and leave to dry before and after microneedling.

Store your Boost LED Patch flat in the hygiene bag in a cool and dry environment.

Skincare Products
Unwanted, unused skincare products must be returned in a saleable condition in their original packaging within 14 days of receiving your order. Cleanse & Recovery Sprays cannot be returned. If you wish to return an item we recommend using a trackable delivery service such as Royal Mail 1st Class Signed-For or Recorded Delivery.

We reserve the right to consider the condition of any skincare product you wish to return and make any deductions if there are indications that the product or seals have been used, removed, broken or tampered with.

We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are in transit. We will refund the original postage costs paid for all UK orders.

For hygiene reasons, Boost LED devices that have been opened cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. However, we offer a 14-day cooling-off period if the product is unused and you change your mind.

In this event, we will refund the price paid in full, subject to any deduction we are entitled to make for collection and if the item returned is not in a fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged.

Standard Warranty
Under normal use, this product is guaranteed for 2 years after its original purchase date against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Exceptions
The lithium battery is guaranteed for 1 year after its original purchase date against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Boost Nano-Derm & bt-sculpt
For hygiene reasons, Boost Nano-Derm and bt-sculpt devices that have been opened cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. However, we offer a 14-day cooling-off period if the product is unused and you change your mind.

In this event, we will refund the price paid in full, subject to any deduction we are entitled to make for collection and if the item returned is not in a fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged.

If you wish to return a Boost device contact us and we will organise collection (DHL for International customers, DPD for UK customers).

For orders shipped outside the European Union we’re unable to refund any taxes, duties, charges or special delivery costs you may have paid when placing your order. You will be refunded the tax-free price of the products returned. Costs to return the product to us in the UK will be advised as necessary.

Orders shipped to an address within the European Union will be refunded the price of the products returned minus shipping charges. Costs to return the product to us in the UK will be advised as necessary.
