Pioneers in LED skincare
When we created the UK’s first LED facial bar in 2015 it marked the beginning of a beauty tech revolution. Our signature Collagen Boost Facial made light therapy accessible and became a go-to treatment for make-up artists and celebrities.
When we developed Boost, our award-winning range of wearable LED, it was unlike anything else available. Today, multiple brands offer LED tools, so what sets us apart?
Clinically proven wavelengths for targeted results
Lots of brands talk about a broad spectrum of light colours, but not all wavelengths deliver clinically supported benefits.
Green wavelengths, for instance, penetrate poorly and are absorbed by melanin and superficial blood, meaning they do not reach the dermis, where key rejuvenating processes occur. This makes them ineffective for collagen and elastin stimulation.
By contrast, longer wavelengths such as red 633nm and near-infrared 830nm, reaching the dermis and beyond. These clinically proven wavelengths have been shown to stimulate collagen and elastin production for improved skin firmness, enhance circulation for a more radiant complexion, and promote overall skin health and recovery.
830nm, in particular, reaches deeper into the body, targeting muscles, nerves, and bones while supporting circulation and reducing inflammation.
Blue 415nm also deserves a mention for its antibacterial properties. Best used in a professional setting with our in-salon LED systems, this targets acne-prone skin by helping to reduce the presence of acne-related bacteria.
Regardless of how many LED bulbs a device has, if the wavelengths are inaccurate or inconsistent, the light won’t effectively reach its intended target in the skin or body—making precision crucial. Whether a device has 99 or 199 bulbs, only correctly calibrated wavelengths will deliver targeted benefits, ensuring optimal results.
Head-to-toe versatility
With our Boost Mask, Collar, Bib, Body Patch and Head-to-Toe LED Trio set, you can treat your entire body to our precision wavelengths at home and while travelling. If you’re a salon therapist, our wearable LED range gives you the flexibility to treat multiple clients in a professional setting.
Almost every time we’re reviewed by the press, they mention how wearable and versatile Boost LED is compared to all other tools on the market. We’ve carefully designed our devices to be flexible enough to mould to your body, to feel comfortable against the skin, and to be lightweight enough that you can take them on every trip (using our practical canvas travel pouch).
Multifaceted benefits
With benefits for the skin, hair, body and mind, Boost LED provides comprehensive salon-grade coverage with unrivalled wearability. Flexible silicone designs and adjustable straps allow you to apply the power of LED wherever you need it most. For example, you could wear the Mask to control a hormonal breakout, the Patch for an aching shoulder, and the Collar for lacklustre hair all in one 10-minute session. From teens targeting breakouts and sports injury recovery, to adults targeting the signs of ageing and arthritis, the whole family can benefit at once. With so many uses and the flexibility to wear the devices anywhere on the body, the treatment combinations are endless.
