What is True Microcurrent, and why is it important?
True Microcurrent refers to correct application of electrical current to the skin within a specific therapeutic current band, and with intentionally programmed wave shapes. The amount of current applied to the skin is vital; too much can lead to overexertion, drooping and laxity, and too little yields no results. All Bio-Therapeutic microcurrent technology is computer calibrated more than a thousand times per second to maintain optimal wave shapes and optimal amounts of current. This combination of correct wave shapes and current was pioneered by Bio-Therapeutic fifty years ago and is held as the industry standard of excellence.

Why are there four probes on the bt-sculpt, when other handhelds on the market have just two?
Bio-Therapeutic’s microcurrent is optimised for the characteristics of how current flows across the skin surface. In a two-probe unit, the electrical current simply flows via a path of least resistance from the positively to the negatively charged probe, resulting in very little coverage across the skin, with the current flowing in a straight line. With Bio-Therapeutic’s four-probe design, the current flows between all four probes, creating a much larger area of activity and allowing for the two channels of current frequency to interact. This creates an interferential canvassing effect that delivers more coverage in less time, and substantially increases the number of True Microcurrent frequencies to which the skin is exposed.

How can the bt-sculpt provide lift to the skin if used single handed?
The bt-sculpt features a unique, self tensioning K4iTEKTM probe system that provides a gentle lifting motion to the skin. This precision lifting system, combined with the unique finish on the four probes, provides the ideal level of lift and tension to the skin surface using just one hand.

How frequently each week can the bt-sculpt be used?
The bt-sculpt not only delivers results after the first use, but those results improve cumulatively with every subsequent use. For best results, we recommend using the bt-sculpt three days a week. If using at home between Non-invasive Face Lift treatments, we suggest taking a break from bt-sculpt home use 24 hours prior.

Skincare Products

Unwanted, unused skincare products must be returned in a saleable condition in their original packaging within 14 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately Cleanse & Recovery sprays cannot be returned. If you wish to return an item we recommend using a trackable delivery service such as Royal Mail 1st Class Signed-For or Recorded Delivery.

We reserve the right to consider the condition of any skincare product that you wish to return and make any deductions if there are indications that the product or seals have been used, removed, broken or tampered with.

We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are in transit. We will refund the original postage costs paid for all UK orders.

Boost LED Devices

For hygiene reasons, Boost LED Treatment devices that have been opened cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. However, we do offer a 14-day cooling-off period if the product is not used and you change your mind.

In this event, we will refund the price paid in full, subject to any deduction we are entitled to make for collection and if the item returned is not in a fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged.

Standard Warranty
Under normal use this product is guaranteed for 2 years after its original purchase date against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Exceptions
The lithium battery is guaranteed for 1 year after its original purchase date against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by the following:

- Accident, misuse, abuse or alteration
- Servicing by unauthorised persons
- Connection to incorrect power sources
- Use with unauthorised accessories

Unfortunately, for orders shipped outside the European Union, we’re unable to refund any taxes, duties, charges or special delivery costs you may have paid when placing your order. You will be refunded the tax-free price of the products returned. Costs to return the product to us in the UK will be advised as necessary.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch to treat any other conditions apart from those listed in the indications for use. The Advanced LED Mask, Bib and Patch have not been tested for any other conditions than those listed and the risk is unknown.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding. The Advanced LED Mask, Bib and Patch has NOT been tested on pregnant or breast-feeding women and therefore the risk to the foetus, neonate or pregnant women is unknown.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch if you suffer from lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism. If you use the Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch to treat lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism you may cause a severe skin reaction.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch if you suffer from any photosensitive disorder (sensitisation to light). If you use the Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch and you suffer from a photosensitive disorder you may cause a severe skin reaction.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch if you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity. If you use the Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch and you are taking any medication that can causes photosensitivity you may cause a severe skin reaction.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask if you suffer from light induced headaches.

DO NOT use The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask if you suffer from any genetic conditions of the eye.

Photosensitivity is a common side effect of various medications.
These can include certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics. If you are unsure about any medication you may be taking please consult your healthcare provider.

Other substances not listed above can also cause photosensitivity. Common examples of these substances are:

St John's wort, coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (mothballs), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergent, and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing).

There are some instances in which the The Light Salon Boost® Advanced LED Mask, Bib or Patch photofacial may prove unsuitable for an individual. Certain medical conditions or drugs may mean that an individual is unsuitable for the treatment.
